Year 1 made shields and sang a song about a knight. Years 2 and 3 wrote stories about Dragons and Years 4 and 5 performed a play about St George. They had adapted the story themselves. Year 6 performed a poem about a dragon in the style of a rap and also led the audience

Highclere Castle
Class 3 visited Highclere Castle which was once the home of Lord Carnarvon, who, along with Howard Carter, discovered the tomb of Tutankhamun. We had a very enjoyable day, visiting both the exhibition (where some artefacts were 5,000 years old) and the secret garden.
Holy Week at St Mary’s
Classes 1 and 2 visited St Mary’s church, Thame, on Monday and learnt a little more about Holy week. They were very well behaved and asked some fantastic questions. We were all delighted to see a familiar face – Mr Haigh.
CPSO
We held a special assembly to welcome our local CPSO, Graham.
Mathletics
The laptop one is our recent purchase Mathletics – an online maths programme which children across the school are enjoying using.
Pens and Books
The TPSA have very kindly purchased some colouring pens and pencils and some books. Lots of the children have loved using them at playtime and lunchtimes.
