The children in Class Two have written their own versions of the famous song ‘12 Days of Christmas’. Here are a few pieces of their creations and some snapshots of the children reading their work.
Key Stage 1
In Class 1 we have been looking at ‘The Jolly Christmas Postman’ story. The children enjoyed drawing a drawing map to help them learn the story. We also have made a class Christmas tree and advent calendar.
We’ve talked about what we can do to stop bullying happening in our school. We’ve also created a colourful jigsaw about all the things we pledge to do: stand up to the bully, tell a teacher, include everybody, be a kind person and treat everybody equally. Oh & we all wore ‘odd socks’ because none of us are exactly
Today, all the children from Tetsworth Primary School took part in a marathon ‘five laps’ to raise money for Children In Need. Everyday, the children take part in the ‘five laps of the playground challenge’ so that they maintain a healthy lifestyle, but today they took things a little further in the aid of charity.
This Remembrance Day the children were given the task to do something ‘creative’ to remember the soldiers that fought & gave their lives for our freedom. There were some fantastic entries including; video recordings of family wartime stories, poppy cakes baked, Flander’s Field art work, visits to local War Memorials & 10k’s ran to raise
On Friday 16th October everyone gathered on the playground to see who the winners of this years ‘Pumpkin Raffle’ were. The Russell family were very lucky as Louie & Lana took home two pumpkins!
