On Friday 23rd November the whole school got involved in Children In Need. All of the children donated money towards the great cause and came to school in their ‘spotty’ clothes. The children went to the Green to face their Children In Need challenge of running as many laps around the cricket and football pitch

Term 2 So Far
The children have had a great start to Term 2. Many of our children enjoyed a Halloween Party and in Literacy wrote about their Halloween Costumes. Next the children learnt about why we celebrate Bonfire Night. They story mapped The Gunpowder Plot and acted the story out during whole school Assembly. The Year 1 children
Firework Art
Some of years 2 – 6 enjoyed getting creative with glue, salt and watercolour. The firework pictures that resulted are fab and are displayed in Class 3 if you’d like to come and have a look.
County Music Service
We enjoyed an assembly from the County Music Service and listened to music on the recorder, fyfe, flute and clarinet.
Antarctica
We recently welcomed Jamie, a marine biologist, who came to talk to us about his travels around the world, working with wildlife. He had some fantastic photos and videos and kept us all entertained with his stories and fascinating facts. He is off to Antarctica soon for six months; we are going to write to
My Family and other Animals
