Sports Day was a great success on a hot summer’s day as the Chilterns, Red Kites, Swans and St. Giles went to battle. The children took part in hurdling, sprinting and long-distance races as well as javelin and bean bag throwing. The all important house relay race was the last race of the day, with
Netball Friendly
The Year 5 and 6 Netball team played John Hampden at Netball. They won 4 games, drew 1 game and lost 2. Jermaine, Evan and Ailsa all scored. Hazel, Bix and Rebecca all battled valiantly as well. The children had a great time. Big thanks to John Hampden for the cookies and drinks too!
Newland Park
Year 5 and 6 went for a week’s residential trip in Chalfont St. Peter at the Newland Park Activity Centre. Whilst they were there they enjoyed rock climbing, hoverboarding and water wars. They also took part in It’s a Knockout, a campfire and karting. They stayed in Ipswich House and had a fried breakfast each
