On Wednesday 29th June the Chilterns, Red Kites, Swans and St. Giles went to battle on the school’s annual Sports Day. There were running, throwing, team, relay events and even parent’s races!
Congratulations to Laura Crane, Mark Needham and David Stranks for winning their respective parent’s races and also to the teachers and little children that took part too in their races too.
However, the main event was the childrens’ Sports Day and going into the final race the Red Kites were winning. Chilterns needed a win from Kian, Dimar, Lana and Harmony in the last race of the day to snatch victory from the Red Kites. This is exactly what happened! As the results were announced a giant roar came from the Chilterns team and Harmony and Iona lifted the trophy aloft. A great morning was had by all, up the Tetty!
